    2.    See sample Search Results screen  for how to preview and save audio clips. To hear audio, you need RealPlayer. You can download a free ‘Basic Version’ from the RealPlayer website.  You do NOT need to register or provide personal information to download your free Basic Version.

     

    GRAPHICS search (charts, graphs, tables, maps, illustrations and logos prepared by AP staff.  Includes stock market graphics, science graphics, graphics in Spanish language and more)

    1.       See sample search screen for graphics.

    2.   On search results screen, click on Caption for more information on graphic including date it was madeDATE GRAPHIC WAS MADE IS VERY IMPORTANT.

    3.   To see graphic in full size, click on Download, then on Complete Text.  Image will be displayed in Adobe Acrobat (image may appear in two different layouts).  Use the Hand icon on the Adobe menu bar to enlarge the image further.  You can save this Adobe Acrobat file to a word file or other program where you can delete any part of it you don’t want (or you can hold down the Ctrl key and click on the T icon (Text tool)  in the Adobe icon bar to select parts of the graphic before you save it).

     

    TEXT search for articles in the archives written on your topic: Click on TEXT button in bar on left side of search screen and then search for your topic as in the sample search screens for photo, audio or graphics above.
