EVALUATE for yourself the quality of strategies and lessons in textbooks relative to appropriateness of their teaching strategies for your students’ diverse needs, level of interactivity for students, accuracy of content etc. and other criteria for good teaching and learning that you have learned from your course instructor and readings so far.

DIVERSITY: To see if a teacher’s edition text includes strategies for modifying lessons to meet diverse needs, scan table of contents and index. Also scan lessons – modification may be at end of a lesson.
