Magazines for Children and Young Adults

1. Searchasaurus, Kid's Search and Primary Search are three databases from the same source that index, provide full text and reading levels of magazine articles for children and young adults. They also include some encyclopedia and dictionary articles.

Searchasaurus interface is for young children

Kid's Search is for intermediate, middle and high school grades

Primary Search is a more adult interface but content is same as Searchasaurus and Kid's Search

Special Teacher Resources: ADDED BONUS: Searchasaurus and Kid's Search also include a 'Teacher's Resources' link to other databases for researching professional topics of interest to teachers.

 

2.  InfoTrac Junior Edition for upper elementary/junior high readers
